A cooperation protocol was signed between uur University Faculty of Health Sciences and German SLG St. Paulus GmbH and German, Greek, Turkish Sister City Association Castrop-Rauxel e.V. 

For the signing ceremony, an online meeting was held. The meeting was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer and SLG St. Paulus GmbH St. Lea Schıffer SLG S from Rochus Hospital Castrop-Rauxel Nursing management and German-Greek-Turkish Sister City Association Federal Assembly Member and Chairman of the Board Castrop-Rauxel e.V. Also Frank Schwabe, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Şenol Hakan Kutoğlu and Prof. Dr. Hakan Bakkal, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Emine Yılmaz Can and Head of International Office Assoc. Prof. Murat İnce, International Relations Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dinçer Biçer also took part.

According to the criteria determined by the cooperation protocol regarding the 'health services student and employee internship exchange program', students selected from the Nursing, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation departments of the Faculty of Health Sciences of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University are planned to do internship/clinical practice in clinics in Germany, and the nursing department students and staff in Germany are planned to participate in the practice at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Faculty of Health Sciences.

With the signed protocol, it is also aimed to encourage joint educational-cultural activities for young people in order to improve mutual relations.
